GATEWAY
For the Gateway Project, we were tasked with moving an already existing restaurant, Lamppost Pizza, to an entirely different country, Poland. We had to find the most suitable location, add new menu options, create billboards, figure out shipping costs and find effective ways to advertise online. It is the foundation of what is to come in the following years. I learned so much on this project from marketing and how to do it effectively to basic time management and organization skills. It has developed an interest in me to do that in the future.
INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION
Design
For the gateway, one of my main jobs was to design by creating a mockup of what a website would look like the look of the slideshow presentation, and making sure formatting was correct.
Marketing
I was the main person in charge of what the marketing would look like. Where the billboards would be and how much it would cost for each form of advertisement requested in this project.
Presentation
I was in charge of leading our group in the presentation. I gave the hook and the conclusion, helped everyone make their speech seem cohesive and flow correctly, and made sure the group got their work done effectively.
